ChargeX attendance and participation policy
As a registered attendee, speaker, sponsor or participant at ReCharge Inc.’s (“Recharge”) 2022 ChargeX conference (the “Conference”) and Conference-related events you agree to follow the terms of this Code of Conduct and Photo Consent. We appreciate your cooperation to help ensure a safe environment for all Conference participants.
Tickets
Your Conference ticket entitles you to admittance to the Conference and Conference-related events only. All other costs associated with attendance (e.g., travel and accommodation expenses) are your responsibility, and Recharge will have no liability for these costs.
You understand and agree that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Tickets cannot be sold, resold, bartered, auctioned, or transferred in any way. You are responsible for choosing to submit a registration form and Recharge will not be liable for any errors in submission, payment or ticket processing.
All determinations of special rates and discounts are in the sole discretion of Recharge.
Attendee requirements
Recharge may change, substitute or cancel any aspect of the Conference, including the Conference name, themes, content, program, speakers, moderators, venue and time. All intellectual property rights in and to the Conference, the Conference content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Conference are owned by Recharge or the Conference sponsors or speakers, as applicable. You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce the Conference content or any of Recharge’s trademarks without Recharge’s prior written permission.
Consent to photos
By attending the Conference and agreeing to this Code of Conduct you hereby irrevocably permit, authorize, grant and license Recharge and its affiliates, successors and assigns, and their respective licensees, advertising agencies, promotion agencies, and fulfillment agencies, and the employees, officers, directors and agents of each and all of them, the right to display, publicly perform, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, reproduce, record, photograph, digitize, modify, alter, edit, adapt, create derivative works, exploit, sell, rent, license, otherwise use, and permit others to use my image, likeness, appearance, and all materials created by or on behalf of Recharge that incorporate any of the foregoing in perpetuity in any medium or format whatsoever now existing or hereafter created, without any further consent or approval from or royalty, payment or other compensation to you.
Conduct
If a session is stated to be a closed door session, you may not record audio or video of sessions at the Conference or take professional photographic or video equipment, or wearable recording devices into the Conference.
You agree to obey all signage, instructions and rules. Recharge reserves the right to refuse admittance to, or remove any person from, the Conference at any time in its sole discretion, including inappropriate, disorderly, disrespectful, or dangerous behaviour or failing to comply with this Policy. Please report any concerns, offensive behavior, or suspicious or disruptive activity to the Conference staff.
Private event
This is a private event. Recharge reserves the right to refuse, cancel, and/or refund your registration at any time.
COVID-19 disclosure
At ReCharge Inc. (“Recharge”), we are committed to the safety of all individuals participating in ChargeX 2021 (“ChargeX”). While COVID-19 poses a threat to the health and well-being of all individuals, certain precautions can significantly reduce that threat and help protect our workplace as well as our community. After careful consideration, we have adopted this COVID-19 Policy (this “Policy”).
Entry requirements
In order to attend ChargeX, all attendees must either be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide a pre-entry diagnostic viral test with a negative result. A person is fully vaccinated for COVID-19 two weeks or more after they have received their second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer or Moderna), two weeks or more after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson and Johnson/Janssen), or two weeks after receipt of another vaccine authorized by the World Health Organization. If an attendee is providing a pre-entry test, the COVID-19 test must be conducted on a sample taken 24 hours prior to entry into ChargeX for an antigen test or within 48 hours prior to entry into ChargeX for a PCR-based test.
Proof of vaccination and negative pre-entry test results, as applicable, must be provided to Recharge prior to entry into Recharge. More information regarding how to provide your proof of vaccination or pre-entry test results will be forthcoming. All attendees will be asked to furnish a photo identification upon check-in at ChargeX to verify the information in their proof of vaccination or negative pre-entry test result.
In order to avoid any potential issues at ChargeX check-in, Recharge recommends that you carry a copy (physical or digital) of your proof of vaccination or negative pre-entry test result upon arrival at ChargeX.
Please do not attend ChargeX if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or if you are under isolation or quarantine orders.
While at ChargeX
Recharge and the ChargeX venue will be following all federal, state and local guidelines and requirements related to prevention of the spread of COVID-19 at ChargeX. These include, but are not limited to, mask wearing, physical distancing, handwashing, reduced crowding and maximized ventilation.
Masks must be worn while indoors at ChargeX, regardless of an attendee’s vaccination status.
Updates
Recharge is continuously monitoring requirements and guidelines for health and safety from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and will follow all such requirements and guidelines. We will share updates with our attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and staff as they evolve through regular updates to this policy. Please check back here frequently for updates so you will know what to expect when you arrive in Los Angeles for ChargeX.
